Bravo has suspended one of the personalities from its “Real Housewives of the Potomac” reality series amid allegations of sexual harassment from a crew member.
Michael Darby, husband of series regular Ashley Darby, is facing misdemeanor charges in Potomac, Md., for improper contact with a crew member who accuses Darby of groping him while the show was in production on Sept. 1, according to the Associated Press.
Bravo and “Potomac” producer Truly Original issued statements distancing the show from Darby.
“Bravo has comprehensive policies and guidelines relating to the safety of cast and crew which production companies are required to follow, in addition to their own protocols they have in place,” Bravo said in a statement. “We take all allegations seriously and then proceed accordingly with our producing partners. Bravo and Truly Original, the production company for ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac,’ have suspended filming with Michael Darby.”
Truly Original said it had launched a “review” of the situation and safety on the “Potomac” set.
“We take all allegations of sexual and other misconduct seriously, and have stringent policies, as well as training, in place to deal with all employee issues,” Truly Original said. “Immediately upon learning of these allegations, we commenced a thorough internal review and, per our protocol, took all appropriate steps to ensure the safe working environment and safe forum for communication for everyone associated with the production. The review is ongoing and we are not able to comment further.”
One of the stars of ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ has been criminally charged with sexual assault for grabbing the butt of a crew member.
Michael Darby — the husband of Ashley Darby — allegedly grabbed and groped the butt of a cameraman who was filming an episode of the show.
The cameraman — Orville Palmer — claims after the grope he turned around and Darby gave him “a flirtatious look.” Orville says he instructed Darby to stop, and then told his supervisor.
Darby has been charged with felony assault as well as misdemeanor improper sexual contact.
Palmer says the incident occurred Sept. 1.
The maximum punishment is 11 years in prison.
Lisa Vanderpump has totally disconnected herself from the rest of the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ cast and her costars are ticked off … TMZ has learned.
Our sources tell us Lisa is making almost zero effort to interact with the rest of the women on the show — on camera and off. They’re currently shooting season 9, but we’re told other cast members are getting frustrated with Lisa’s isolation … and it’s approaching boiling point.
Erika Jayne went off on Lisa this week, publicly calling her out in an interview for blowing off a photo shoot with the rest of the cast.
We’re told the recent story about Dorit Kemsley giving away a dog she’d adopted from Lisa might be the source of the tensions. Remember, Lisa told us the Dorit story was false, and assured us there’s no beef between them.
However, it’s clear there’s an unresolved issue with the other ‘Housewives’ — but we’re told no one’s saying exactly what it is. At least for now.
Things change faster than a New York minute on The Real Housewives of New York City. Just when it seemed like Carole Radziwill and Tinsley Mortimer were closer than ever last season of RHONY, we come to find out that perhaps they’re not as tight as we thought at the reunion (clip above).
Though it seemed like Carole and Tinsley weren’t exactly seeing eye-to-eye on their relationship at the reunion, you might be glad to know that their friendship hasn’t skipped a beat in the time since the Big Apple bunch came together for this sit-down. “I have been in touch with Carole a little bit. I saw her a little bit ago and saw Baby Dog, her doggy. But I haven’t seen her so recently, but I have been in touch with her recently, yes,” Tinsley told The Daily Dish on the red carpet of the Tribeca TV Festival’s Tribeca Talks: Ten Years with The Real Housewives of New York City at Spring Studios in Manhattan on Sunday, September 24.
Tinsley went on to confirm that she and Carole are still good friends today. “Yes, we’re definitely good,” she said. “I’ve just been really busy recently and just haven’t seen her very often, but no, our friendship is still good.”
Carole showed some love to Tinsley and clarified why she said the two aren’t “thick as thieves” at the reunion on Twitter. “[Tinsley] is a great girl and as I said I like her very much but I haven’t seen her outside filming the reunion since May,” she explained. “I do not think she thinks of me as her bestie or inner circle of friends. Period. #truth.”
‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ alum Carlton Gebbia is officially single — her divorce from David Gebbia is now final … TMZ has learned.
The judge signed off on the divorce settlement Thursday, according to docs obtained by TMZ. David filed in November 2017 — citing irreconcilable differences — but they’d separated nearly a year before that.
Carlton and David got married back in September 1997 and have 3 children — 2 teenage daughters and a 6-year-old son.
