From “High Society” to CouponCabin. Tinsley Mortimer has moved on to another wealthy man after her disastrous relationship in Palm Beach, Fla., we’re told.
Sources tell us that the onetime queen of the socialites is dating coupon king Scott Kluth, founder and CEO of the popular money-saving site CouponCabin.
Mortimer skipped town for Florida after the collapse of her marriage to Topper Mortimer and her TV show “High Society” was axed in 2010. She had been in a tempestuous on-and-off relationship with sugar scion Nico Fanjul since December 2012.
That relationship — which saw Mortimer hospitalized on Christmas Day in 2013 “due to possible battery” — ended for good in April 2016, when Mortimer was arrested for trespassing outside Fanjul’s home.
Now Page Six has learned that Mortimer — who recently moved back to the city to appear on Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York City” — has been dating Kluth for several months. Sources close to Mortimer tell us that she is “very happy” and that coupon king Kluth is, in contrast to her ex, “very nice to her.”
The 38-year-old Kluth, whose bargain-hunting empire is based near Chicago, is a Kennedy enthusiast who has an . . . interesting collection of historical artifacts, including the “largest known section of the fence from the grassy knoll, and the gun, badge and jacket of the police officer who arrested Lee Harvey Oswald.” In 2009, Kluth told Crain’s that he’s a “Real Housewives” fan, but added, “If that’s how the other half lives, I don’t want to be in it.”
Porsha Williams may have sobbed over Phaedra Parks‘ betrayal on the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, but in real time, she’s forgotten all about her former best friend — and replaced her with a new one!
“They are filming together,” a source said, adding that producers are eager to create a new “Frick and Frack,” Williams and Parks’ team nickname.
As Radar readers know, Parks, 43, was caught starting a vicious rumor that nemesis Kandi Burruss, 41, and husband Todd Tucker attempted to drug and rape Williams during a wild night out. Parks told Williams that she heard the story first-hand from Burruss, but later admitted that wasn’t true. In the aftermath, the single mother of two was fired for her behavior, and refusing to speak about her divorce from Apollo Nida on camera.Meanwhile, execs are also seeking a fresh face to replace Parks on the show, the source added, and have considered T.I.’s estranged wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris, 41.
Former RHOBH star Yolanda filed for the split in January 2016. Documents filed in Los Angeles and obtained by Radar show that the couple submitted their final judgment package to the court on May 10.
A mutually signed agreement of who’ll get what, that document still must be approved by a judge. The process can take weeks or even months. (Details of the nature of the settlement were not made public.)
Teresa Giudice STILL has more secrets to reveal!
Just one year after releasing her prison tell-all, Turning Tables, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star has announced she’s publishing a second memoir this fall called Standing Strong.
“Writing this particular book has been very emotional and personal for me as I am going to depths that I have never gone to in previous books,” the mother of four said yesterday. The 45-year-old will discuss single motherhood as her husband Joe serves a three-year prison sentence and faces possible deportation to Italy on fraud charges. (Teresa has completed a year-long sentence on similar charges in December 2015.)
She will also talk about her beloved mother’s death in March 2017.
“She is crushed,” a friend said at the time of the shocking loss.
Not everyone on The Real Housewives of New York City is warming up to newcomer Tinsley Mortimer. After Tinsley noted that she thinks she’s received a chilly reception from co-star Bethenny Frankel on several occasions this season, the Skinnygirl mogul slammed the socialite and defended her behavior.“F–k that bitch,” Bethenny said of Tinsley on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday. “Here’s what it is: This is my real life, this is a reality show, and I meet someone at a party and I say ‘Hi, nice to meet you.’ I don’t go down on them.”“Everybody has this preconceived notion that they come on a show that’s been on for 10 years, they’re gonna come in and, ‘Oooh, I’m gonna make Bethenny hate me or like me or I’m gonna fight with her,'” she continued. “It’s like, ‘Hey, hi, how are you?’ That’s it. Basic. Nothing. We don’t know each other.”Bethenny’s reaction was fueled by Tinsley’s previous interview with The Daily Dish, where Tinsley said Bethenny can be a little cold sometimes.“She’s super chic and skinny and I love all of her clothes that she wears,” Tinsley said. “She values her friendships and she’s not just gonna immediately be a friend of yours, unless you get to know her better and build a relationship with her. And so she kind of sometimes can be actually nice and sometimes a little cold. It sort of goes hot and cold a little bit.”The “friction” between Bethenny and Tinsley stemmed from Bethenny’s very quickly introduction of herself to The Real Housewives of New York City rookie at Sonja Morgan’s Mad Hatter party. Bethenny later defended the encounter in her Bravo blog, writing, “Sorry if my greeting wasn’t up to Southern standards. I like Tinsley, and that is how I am when I meet someone new. I go with a handshake and a hello. I wasn’t quite ready for friendship bracelets or matching tattoos.”
Bravotv.com: Why did you want to go to OZ – did you plan on confrontingAshley Darby the way it went down?
Robyn Dixon: I don’t believe in attacking the messenger when the message comes from a sincere place. However, I was really bothered after hearing about how Ashley completely attacked and disrespected Charrisse Jackson Jordan and her unfortunate situation while in the dress shop. It became very clear to me that Ashley has no compassion nor sincerity and completely has no respect for what we have experienced and endured in our lives. I then thought more about exactly what Ashley had said and done to me – bringing gossip to a public party, repeating the gossip over and over again, going in the face of the person she was gossiping about to encourage him to dance. It just all screamed messy, insincere, and childish. I decided to visit Ashley at Oz because I wanted to express those feelings to her and to ask her to think about her intentions before speaking about other people’s lives. Don’t pretend to really care about someone but then gossip all night about them – it comes off as phony and malicious. Don’t throw stones at another woman’s decisions when you’ve never walked a day in their shoes. Why was she so interested in my personal life anyway? I gave her the benefit of the doubt last year when speaking about my financial troubles. But I can’t continue to let her gossip about me and think it is ok.
While on the way to Oz, I envisioned us having a mature and productive conversation. Unfortunately, that is not the way it went down. When I saw Ashley, I was immediately reminded of her phoniness and how she tries to project a sweet, bubbly image but really is not a genuine person. I didn’t want to play Ashley’s phony smile-in-your-face game and instantly became frustrated and agitated at the sight of her. I definitely did not plan on making a scene at her place of business but things quickly escalated and turned into a yelling match. I absolutely am not proud of that moment and wish I had handled things differently.
Bravotv.com: What do you think about Juan’s conversation with the Producer off camera?
RD: Juan’s off-camera conversation with the Producer was definitely unfavorable and not fun to hear, however, it was not news to me to hear how he felt. We have had many private conversations about the state of our relationship and what we each desire. And what I have been saying the entire season – that Juan would like to get married again, have more kids, be in a relationship – is pretty much the same thing he said, “I want to share my life with somebody. I want something more.” His frustrated tone and the fact that he’s whispering to a trusted producer makes the message sound worse than it really is and as if he is hurting me. However, the fact that I am always focused on business and don’t share the same desires for a relationship that Juan does definitely sometimes leads to tense moments between the two of us.
Bravotv.com: What were you thinking during this conversation with Charrisse’s therapist – did you expect to break down?
RD: I didn’t know what to expect in talking to a therapist and definitely didn’t want to hear more of the same message that my friends had already delivered but I still went into this meeting with an open mind. Fortunately, Dr. Jeff has a special way of making you feel comfortable and at ease. He also has a way of making you take a step back to look at your life from a different perspective. After mentioning my children, I began to become emotional. Just thinking about how much I love my kids made me realize that I need to be the best Robyn that I can be, not only for my personal sake but especially for my kids’ lives and futures. I also began to think about my past struggles that I have endured and survived and of the memories of the pain and how my past experiences continue to affect me. I definitely did not expect to break down, but thinking about some of my darkest days was a strong trigger in that emotional moment.
The lies are over and Kandi Burruss is moving on after one brutal season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The Bravo reality series had a history-making four-part reunion where everything about the supposed drugging story came to light for Kandi and costars Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams, Sheree Whitfield, Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore.
E! News spoke with Kandi about the RHOA reunion reveals at the Fueled by Culture dinner where she was presented with the Fortune Insider Award by Marcus Damas. The event, which was sponsored by Lyft and Avion Tequila, was held at the Hunt & Fish Club in New York City.
“It’s a relief to me that my name was cleared, that people no longer have to wonder if I would do something like that,” she said about the drugging rumors and “lesbiangate” reveals coming out. “You can’t fight a lie. I’m just so glad the truth finally came out because I would never want something like that to be attached to me.”
E! News previously reported Phaedra Parks is not returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. When Andy Cohen, Real Housewives executive producer, spoke to us at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront, he said they were in a bit of a pickle.
“The question that we look at now with Phaedra is, when the reunion ended, none of the other women wanted to have anything to do with her. So that’s what you have to look at,” he told us. “How do you shoot a show about a group of friends when no one is speaking to one of the friends?”
Kandi agreed that the cast does not with to work with Phaedra.
“At the end of the day, all the girls throw shade at each other, but to know that people actually plot, behind the scenes, to plant information on people that’s completely made up, that’s a real problem. It wasn’t even for the sake of television; it was for the sake of tearing me down,” Kandi said. “The fact that she never once let on that she had anything to do with it, clearly, she just wants to tear down my reputation, kill my fan base, hurt my business. It was really just terrible. And then she’s supposed to be friends with Porsha? Then she set her up to be the fall guy? That’s a lot of plotting going on. People don’t want to deal with that.”
Kandi said she hasn’t seen or spoken to Porsha since the reunion.
It’s official: this Real Housewives of Orange County alum is coming back to Bravo. Lydia McLaughlin is returning to RHOC, The Daily Dish confirmed Thursday. Rumors first began circulating of McLaughlin’s return last February. An insider told Us Weekly at the time, “She seems really excited.” I’m sure fans of the Bravolebrity who first joined the original Housewives series in Season 8 are just as excited as McLaughlin.
Andy Cohen, host of all the Housewives reunions and late-night talk show Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, first teased the return of some familiar faces to Orange County in May. He told The Daily Dish, “And some old Housewives [are] returning and it’s really good.” Now fans know that includes McLaughlin. In addition to McLaughlin, Season 11 Housewife Kelly Dodd is also coming back, Cohen revealed to Entertainment Tonight Monday. Let’s hope Gretchen Rossi makes a triumphant return as well, because that would make one epic Season 12.
When McLaughlin left the show, it was entirely her choice. She revealed in her 2015 memoir, Beyond Orange County: A Housewives Guide to Faith & Happiness, “As I prayed about the decision, I didn’t feel in my heart of hearts that I was called [by God] to do another season of the show,” she wrote. Clearly, something has changed and she’s ready to once again be a Housewife.
Ever since her departure, she’s been busy. Not only did she and her husband, Doug McLaughlin, of 10 years have a third child, son Roman, but she started her own lifestyle blog, OC Lydia. She and Doug also started their own men’s lifestyle magazine, NOBLEMAN, in October 2016.
RHOC viewers are in for a real treat with McLaughlin’s return. Not only will it be interesting to see how she interacts with the other women this time around, but to see how much of the drama she gets involved in. She wasn’t really one who loved arguing, though she certainly didn’t hold back her feelings or opinions.
For some reason the women of The Real Housewives of New York City decided to return to the Berkshires. Yes, after last year’s meltdown of epic proportions, Dorinda Medley hosted Ramona Singer, Luann D’Agostino, Carole Radziwill, Bethenny Frankel and this time Sonja Morgan, as well as newbie Tinsley Mortimer, for another round of holiday fun.
Ramona showed up with gifts, or rather what viewers would consider gifts: gossip about Luann’s fiancé Tom. She said she had texts about Tom kissing and groping a former girlfriend and shared these texts with the ladies. Dorinda took the info to Luann.
“What should have been a relaxing girls’ getaway to celebrate Dorinda’s birthday and the holidays somehow turned into relationship intervention,” Luann wrote in her blog. “Don’t these women have anything else to talk about besides my upcoming nuptials?”
At the time, Luann was two weeks away from marrying Tom. “Also, if the girls had texts insinuating that Tom acted inappropriately, why didn’t they show them to me? These girls grasp on to innuendo without even considering that these ‘blasts from the past’ are unsubstantiated! As Dorinda said, it was logistically impossible for Tom to do these things! We are happily married now, and we were happily engaged then! I think it’s time for these ladies to focus on their own lives rather than mine.”
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump’s fans can rest assured.
Though she desperately wanted out earlier this year, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the 56-year-old veteran reality star will be returning to the show that made her a superstar next season.
“Lisa has decided to return for season 8 after getting a very lucrative deal that she simply could not refuse,” a source close to the wife of Ken Todd, 59, said, adding that she is now “the highest paid housewife!”
In addition, Vanderpump’s spin-off reality show, Vanderpump Rules, is still turning out the ratings as it enters its 6th season.
According to the source, however, the most important thing to Vanderpump is her charitable causes — most notably Stop Yulin Forever , her grassroots movement to end the slaughter of dogs in China.“Lisa is very pleased with the direction that last season took, highlighting all of her charitable causes,” the source told Radar.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Karen Huger is opening up publicly for the first time about being date-raped at the age of 19.
“I was raped almost 35 years ago,” Huger revealed to Page Six, and she is now fighting against what she calls an “alarming” suicide rate among sexual assault victims.
“The fact that I survived is part of my reality and I’m hoping that message resonates with the viewers,” she said.
In what she describes as “a typical date that went totally off the rails,” the mom of two, now 54, isn’t hiding what happened to her, she’s vocalizing it on national television — with a purpose.
“I am put in a very wonderful position to show that when adversity comes your way it doesn’t stop you, it can propel you,” she said of her platform as a Bravo fixture. “It is my responsibility to be real. I have no shame and I carry no burden because of what happened.”
However, the name of her attacker is something she chooses not to disclose.
“I will never reveal his name, he has passed on,” she explained. “[But] I can say he was a public figure.”
