NeNe Leakes is inching closer to striking a deal for her return to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” … and it might lead to a starring role on a new show.
Sources close to production tell us … NeNe’s ready to come back for season 10 of ‘RHOA’ but hasn’t signed the paperwork yet. We’re told Bravo’s trying to sweeten the deal by working with her on a spin-off … à la Kim Zolciak‘s “Don’t Be Tardy.”
There’s also the matter of money. We know NeNe wants to be paid as much as, if not more than, Kim. Our sources say Leakes will only return to ‘RHOA’ as a part-time cast member. Once again … just like Kim.
Season 10 is about to be amazing.
When The Real Housewives of Orange County returns for Season 12 this summer, Heather Dubrow will be absent from the crew. She confirmed her departure from the series in January: “After a lot of careful thought and deliberation, I have decided not to return to RHOC this season. These past 5 years have been an incredible journey and I’m so proud to have been a part of such an iconic piece of pop culture.”
Well, the exit certainly stunned Meghan King Edmonds. “I was really surprised,” she told The Daily Dish this week. “Really surprised, shocked.”
But even if Heather is no longer on RHOC, she and Meghan have a bond forged in their roles as moms. Actually, Heather has been a bit of a mentor to Meghan on her journey to and as a first-time mom. “I haven’t seen her actually [since the news]. I know she’s super busy. I’m super busy and with the new baby my whole world has shifted. But I know she’s doing great and we definitely text,” Meghan said. “And she recommended my pediatrician that I have in Orange County to me, so that’s who I use and Heather also recommended the IVF doctor that I used. So she and I definitely still have crossed paths a lot.”
Early on, Heather offered up some advice to Meghan on how to navigate mommy life. And she should know what she’s talking about since she has four kids with husband, Terry Dubrow. “She just said just to listen to my instinct because evrybody’s different but mama knows best,” Meghan revealed.
Jill Zarin may be a Real Housewives of New York City alum (although, she will be making an appearance this season, which we can’t wait for), but you wouldn’t know it from all of the drama she’s been having with Ramona Singer lately.
The RHONY alum dished all about her current beef with Ramona during a recent taping of the podcast Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald in Nashville. “Ramona and I will always be, unfortunately, connected, because socially, we share a lot of friends. Although, I say to my friends, ‘Why are you friends with her?’ But I’m tired of fighting that battle,” Jill told Heather McDonald. “The truth is it’s like a love-hate relationship with this woman.”
Jill went on to say that “when Ramona wants something from me, I fall for it every time.” So when Jill was planning her annual party in the Hamptons last summer, which includes many celebs on the guest list (including Housewives from all over the country), Ramona asked if she could be invited. Jill said she invited her and her daughter, Avery Singer, to come along. “Would you believe this? She emails me the night before and says, ‘Since you said I could bring my daughter, she can’t come, but I want to bring these other two people whose house I’m staying in, and if I can’t bring them, I’m not coming,'” Jill said. “First of all, I never invited you. You invited yourself. Second of all, I happen to really like the two people you’re staying with, and that was a miss on my part. So yes, you can bring them, but not because you’re subbing them for your daughter. I invited your daughter because I invited your daughter.”
After the party, Jill said that she also received an email from Ramona where she complained that she didn’t receive the correct gift bag. But when the two ran into each other after that, they were all good, according to Jill, even when the RHONY alum found out that she hadn’t been invited to Ramona’s famous birthday luncheon in November. “I do nothing, and the winter goes by,” Jill explained. “Now the show starts. And I’m good with Ramona. I don’t want to start with Ramona. I don’t want to fight with Ramona. We’re all good. We say hello. We kiss hello. It’s all fake and phony, and it’s all good. Then the show starts, and I guess people heard that I’m doing a cameo this season.”
Jill said that she thinks Ramona wasn’t happy about that because she “felt like I stole thunder away from the cast.” Ramona said during an interview on Jenny McCarthy‘s SiriusXM radio show earlier this month that she thinks Jill is “desperate to be on the show again.” “And I was like, ‘You f***ing bitch. You did not say that.’ First of all, she happens to know what I’ve been going through this winter with Bobby [Jill’s husband, who continues his battle with cancer]. I mean, you saw Bobby. It’s been a rough winter. Dying to get back on the show? No. Wanting to do a cameo? Yes. I did do it,” Jill said. “So instead of her being nice and saying, ‘Oh, we’re so glad Jill came back to do a scene or something,’ that’s what she says. So now, gloves are off. I’m done being nice, and no, she will not be at my party this summer. She’s not being invited.”
“How are things with the ex?” Radziwill asked Frankel during their sit-down catch-up in her home.
“So bad. People think I talk about it in the press. I’ve never said one word. No one knows anything,” Frankel explained to her. “I’m past the point now. I’m past the point. I’m done Carole. I’m going to figure this out. I’m going to fix this. I’m not going on like this.”
During her confessional, the mother of one, who shares 6-year-old daughter Bryn with Hoppy, admitted, “There have been unexpected events as a result of my divorce that have been brutal and it’s like these permanent knots in my back.”
On last week’s episode of RHONY, Ramona Singer brought up Frankel’s nude film past — Frankel admitted “I don’t regret it at all” — and asked if Bryn has been approached by anyone about it.
“What Ramona said about my daughter in the middle of what I’m going through — like, don’t f—ing talk about my daughter,” the Skinnygirl founder said about Singer.
“I have a very public, nasty situation in my divorce,” she admitted. “Don’t be piling on.”
When it comes to Singer’s antics, Frankel told Radziwill, “I have no room. I am full.”
“This is unprecedented. I have never forgiven someone so many times in a row for being despicable and disgraceful. And I hit the wall,” she stated. “Even if I were to make up with Ramona, she would definitely burn me again because she’s Jekyll and Hyde.”
Joining the previously announced renewals of scripted series “Imposters” and “Odd Mom Out” as well as unscripted shows “Top Chef” and “Million Dollar Listing New York,” the network confirmed new season orders for: “The Real Housewives of Orange County;” “Shahs of Sunset;” “The Real Housewives of New Jersey;” “Flipping Out;” “Don’t Be Tardy;” “Married to Medicine;” “Below Deck;” “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles;” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta;” “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills;” “The Real Housewives of Dallas;” “Inside the Actor’s Studio;” “Summer House;” and “Vanderpump Rules.”
“Real Housewives of Potomac” just started airing its second season earlier this month, so a decision has yet to be made on a renewal.
“A continued investment in more content allows us to give marketing partners even more environments to place their brand messaging,” said Laura Molen, executive vice president of the lifestyle and hispanic advertising sales group for NBCUniversal. “We know that the Bravo audience is one of the most engaged, passionate groups out there and we’re excited to work with clients to create authentic opportunities on their behalf.”
Bravo is among the Top 10 ad-supported cable entertainment networks in the key adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 demographics.
Bravotv.com: Has Andy hooked you up with a date yet?
Phaedra Parks: Andy has not hooked me up on a date yet, but introducing me to Shemar Moore was more than enough!
Bravotv.com: Why did you decide to show Andy your divorce documents?
PP: Because everyone in this clique is so concerned with “receipts” and thinks they are so versed in divorce law. As a licensed attorney I wanted to make sure I came prepared with documents to back up the facts. I wanted to set the record straight and make sure everyone was aware that documentation was available to confirm my statements.
Bravotv.com: What was going through your head while watching the retrospective package on all the kids?
PP: Watching the evolution of all of our children was beautiful and very emotional for me. One of the best things about being on this show is being able to document magical moments like the birth of both of my sons, their baptisms, birthday parties, and first days of school. While we may not always agree on most subjects, I know all of the ladies understand and appreciate the importance of being a mother. Out of all of my jobs, raising healthy, strong children is by far the most rewarding.
Bravotv.com: What was it like hearing Sheree open up about the abuse from Bob?
PP: It was hard to hear Sheree speak about the abusive nature of her relationship with Bob. I have known them both for almost 20 years, and it was heartbreaking to hear and see Sheree in pain. You never want to see anyone hurting like that, and it was tough to re-watch and re-live those moments in Maui.
Erika Jayne is letting it all hang out, and (as per usual) she gives zero f–ks about what you think.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to Instagram on Tuesday night, posing completely nude with the exception of some chain-embellished heels and a few star emojis covering her private areas.
But before you start wagging your finger at her, she was already prepared for your judgement.
“Mikey made me do it … Miami nights,” she captioned the photo. “1. This is my pre DWTS body 2. I am not currently in Miami but am in NYC.”
She continued, “3. I posted this knowing most of you would be judgmental and couldn’t resist a chance to tear me down and I was right. 4. Go be offended at your own life. 5. I’m living my life to the fullest.”
Jacqueline Laurita, of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” isn’t afraid to go under the knife to get her ideal look.
“I never understood plastic surgery when I was younger,” she revealed. “But then when you get older, gravity takes its toll, your boobs start going south and lines form around your face. You start considering it more. You may look older, but you may still have the energy and drive of someone younger and you want the looks to match that feeling.”
The Bravo star opened up to Fox News about her latest plastic surgery, which she said she got after she began worrying that her silicone breast implants could rupture.
She decided to research other options and settled on the Ideal Implant, which is made of saline. Laurita found a new surgeon and went from a D-cup to a C-cup in December 2016. It was her fourth surgery on her breasts.
“On camera, I felt like I looked a lot larger with my boobs,” Laurita told us. “But I was insecure even before ‘Housewives.’ But no, it didn’t help having it in my face. I probably would have done them regardless.”
Dr. David Rapaport did her surgery for free.
“I was going to use them before they offered to cover the costs,” she insisted. “I was already researching it and trying to reach out to a doctor. It was just a no-brainer. Why would I still want to stay worried about my silicone implants?”
She said surgery isn’t the only thing she’s done to improve her body.
“I watch what I eat, I exercise, I do all of those things,” Laurita said. “Yes, plastic surgery can give you a jumpstart, but it’s not a cure-all. You still have to maintain it. You can’t just get a tummy tuck and expect a flat stomach for the rest of your life. You still have to eat healthy, you still have to work out.”
Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac was a big one. Not only did Charrisse Jackson Jordan‘s daughter Skylar celebrate her 16th birthday with a big and beautiful bash, but her husband, Eddie Jordan, made his first appearance on RHOP.
We’ve been witness to the crumbling of Charrisse and Eddie’s marriage since last season of RHOP. Charrisse dropped the bombshell at the Season 1 reunion that Eddie had not spoken to her since the show started airing. She also shared earlier this season that Eddie has decided that he wants a divorce.
Still, Charrisse said she fully expected Eddie to show up to Skylar’s big day since it was such a special occasion for his family. “It wasn’t surprising that Eddie was at his daughter’s party. He’s a very supportive father. He’s a great father. He’s always there for his children,” Charrisse told The Daily Dish prior to the episode airing. “We’re co-parenting, and we do the best we can as parents to give our kids the best life and make them as happy as humanly possible. So him being in the room was no surprise.”
Charrisse told The Daily Dish that she hadn’t seen Eddie “in a while” prior to Skylar’s birthday party. Though they had talked before then, their conversations mostly concerned Skylar and her older brother, Jackson, 18. “We have children, so we have to communicate about things that pop up with the children. We don’t have conversations where we call each other and say, ‘Hi, how are you doing?’ It’s strictly about the children,” Charrisse explained. “I’m 51, and I forget timeframes of things. I really don’t know how long it was, but like I said, we’re not in regular conversations with each other. So in terms of going from a place where we used to talk to each other on a regular basis, it had been a very long time.”
Charrisse added that “it was good to see him though.”
Lisa Rinna ran off the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion part 2 last week, after frenemy Kim Richards made the pointed move to return a gift bunny that Rinna had given her earlier in the season.
But on Tuesday’s RHOBH reunion part 3, Rinna comes back to the stage ready to fight — and PEOPLE has a sneak peek at her explosive return.
It doesn’t take long for the insults to come flying.
“I think your’e a really sick woman, I do,” Rinna tells Richards. “I’m sorry, I am sorry. I think you’re a sick woman. To do something like that is sick.”
Richards shoots back. “Well I’m sorry you feel that way ’cause I feel the same way about you,” she says. “I actually believed that maybe you were actually turning over a new leaf. She’s not well.”
That prompts Rinna to throw an accusation Richards’ way that has the whole cast buzzing.
“You know what Kim, you just want to be on a show and I’m your meal ticket,” Rinna says. “I’m it, baby. I’m sorry — I’m your meal ticket.”
It’s a bold claim, considering Richards has been on the show every season since its premiere in 2010 — first as a Housewife (for five seasons) and then as a friend of the Housewives (for the past two seasons).
“I didn’t even want to be here today,” Richards tells her. “I’ve been yours for the last few years. You talk-talk-talk about me, and I’m not even on the show.”
It seems Dorinda Medley has had enough. In a preview of the fourth episode of The Real Housewives of New York City season nine, Dorinda and Sonja Morgan come face-to-face for the first time since their season eight reunion battle, which stemmed from Dorinda not inviting Sonja to the Berkshires last season, and things don’t go very well.
“It’s not going to go any further,” Dorinda told Sonja. “Do you hear me? It’s not—”
“What are you going to do? Back it up from me?” Sonja said, referring to an infamous Dorinda moment where she and the other ladies argued about cursing and Dorinda said, “Back that s—t up!”
“No, come on. Why don’t you stop getting vaginal rejuvenation,” Dorinda said. “And put an E-ZPass on that vagina with your Holland Tunnel. We all know what kind of s—t goes down in that townhouse.”
The game, as they say, is on.
Sonja reportedly posted about Dorinda on Facebook that was the straw that broke the camel’s back for Dorinda. In the third episode, Dorinda revealed she had a man who prepared a folder full of information for her on Sonja.
“You’re a liar, you’re a liar and a fraud,” Dorinda said to Sonja as Ms. Morgan tried to eat her pasta.
A five-hour mediation session last week in a downtown Miami office wasn’t enough to settle differences between former “Real Housewives, Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville and Miami’s Joanna Krupa.
And now it appears more likely we may be exposed to an embarrassing public trial this summer centering around the uncomfortable issue of whether model Krupa’s nether region is malodorous.
“We ended the mediation at an impasse,” said Ray Rafool, Krupa’s lawyer. “At this point, we are headed to trial.”
Records show Miami-Dade County Circuit Court Judge Pedro Echarte Jr. has saved a four-week time slot starting Aug. 7 for the slander case, brought in January 2015 by Krupa against Glanville.
Krupa wants Glanville to pay her big money as punishment for spreading rumors both on and off the air of cable’s Bravo about the Polish beauty’s allegedly unwashed lady parts.
Glanville, who was on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” until 2015, says she didn’t do anything wrong even if she was unsuccessful in getting the lawsuit thrown out.
But if nothing else, says Rafool, the lawsuit got Glanville to shut up about former “Real Housewives of Miami” star Krupa.
No matter how many times she tried to keep those loose lips of hers shut, she seemed to always find herself on the wrong side of the drama — most notably when she spread rumors that recovering addict Kim Richards was close to death after using again, and when she asked Dorit Kemsley if people were doing drugs at her house.
Sure, as a fan, that all made for great television. But Rinna’s words had real consequences — and she learned that first hand on Tuesday’s second part of the RHOBH reunion.
The reality was so upsetting for Rinna, she ended up leaving the stage in tears — telling host Andy Cohen, “I’m going to walk away for a second because it just doesn’t feel quite right.”
Her exit came after Richards made the bold move to return a gift bunny for her grandson Rinna had given her earlier in the season — as a peace offering, of sorts.
“I brought the bunny because I never gave it to my grandson,” Richards, 52, said as she got up from her couch and walked the still-wrapped present over to Rinna. “It didn’t feel like it had good energy, sorry. So I think what I should do is give it to you and when you and I are in a better place, maybe you can give it back to me. Because right now I don’t feel like it was given to me with the right energy.”
“It’s just been sitting there and I couldn’t give it to my grandson,” Richards continued as Rinna teared up. “I’m all about energy and positive things. Maybe that can be given to somebody else and maybe you would mean it more and get better energy giving it to somebody else. You don’t have to cry over it.”
