She’s getting married!
Friends of Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps gathered together on Wednesday night in the Big Apple to celebrate the 51-year-old socialite at her bridal shower!
Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley were just two of de Lesseps’ RHONY castmates to attend the intimate affiar. They were joined by other friends of the 5 ft. 10 in.-beauty, including YouTube star Chloe Jane.
All the ladies wore sparkly tiaras – with the Countess’ crown saying “Bride to Be.” She looked especially ready to walk down the aisle in a low-cut, belted, lacy white dress with silky skirt.
Their relationship was the fodder for much drama on this season of Bravo’s hit reality show – as D’Agostino, Jr. allegedly had a “friends with benefits” relationship with Morgan and had previously dated Ramona Singer.
The cast of Real Housewives of Orange County (Watch Live) needs a timeout! RadarOnline.com has learned that the cast has gotten so NASTY towards each other in recent weeks that production staff fired off a shocking letter to all of them, commanding their social media silence!
Radar exclusively obtained a copy of that letter, which lays down the law.
It reads, in part, “…the social media viciousness has gone too far and you need to cool it. Specifically we’re asking you to stop attacking each other. The network is upset and so are we in production.”
“The constant, ugly fighting is a bad look for you, and bad for the show,” it reads. “You may not like each other, may not trust each other and often wish you weren’t on the show together – but taking shots at each other on social media isn’t the answer. Save it for the show… for the reunion… and please stop fighting so dirty.”
The letter begged the ladies to stop “negative mentions about the other cast members,” and urged the ladies to focus on their own lives and projects instead.
We’re asking you to stop any negative mentions about the other cast members on social media. Talk about your lives, your kids, your grandchildren, your jobs, products…. Or whatever…. But please stop aggressively hitting each other below the belt.”
So what started it?
The back-and-forth social media war between this season’s cast members – Vicki Gunvalson, 54, Shannon Beador, 52, Tamra Judge, 49, Heather Dubrow, 47, Meghan King-Edmonds, 32, and – has gotten way out of hand lately, with team Gunvalson and Dodd up against team Beador, Judge and Dubrow.
After being called the C-word recently by Dodd Gunvalson got her sweet revenge on Beador during last night’s episode when she hinted that Bedor’s cheating husband David was happier with the mistress than he was with her!
Thursday afternoon, Real Housewives of Dallas cast member Marie Reyes tweeted a police report from 2008 that says Real Housewife LeeAnne Locken threatened her ex-boyfriend with a knife and hit him in the face. “LeeAnne Locken has a documented history of violence with knives — so I’m staying away from #RHOD Season 2,” Reyes said in her tweet.
Reyes’ revelation puts another nail in the coffin of her long friendship with Locken, which soured as the pair squared off on the TV show. In one episode built around a trip to Austin, Locken threatened to kill Reyes, who she believed was spreading rumors about her. At least that was how Reyes saw it, but when Reyes and the other women on the show confronted Locken about these threats, she waved them off. “Haven’t you ever heard someone in the street say, ‘I’m going to kill your ass?’ It’s slang,” Locken says. “It doesn’t mean I’m going to take a knife and slit her throat.”
Maybe not, but jabbing at a locked door with a knife while someone cowers behind it seems a little less slangy and a lot more scary. That’s what Locken’s ex-boyfriend Hubert Sebanc said she did to him in the 2008 report he made to Dallas police.
According to the incident report, Sebanc called the police to Locken’s home after a night of clubbing. Locken was angry with Sebanc because she thought he was flirting with another woman. When they returned home, she began chasing him, swinging a large kitchen knife at him “in a cutting motion.” He locked himself in a bedroom while Locken stabbed the bedroom door.
Sheree Whitfield, who left the show after four seasons and returned part-time last year, has officially been given a full-time peach – and full-time salary – for the ninth season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
The show returns Sunday, November 6 on Bravo at 8 p.m.
Whitfield created some great one-liners such as “Who Gonna Check Me Boo?” but struggled to conjure up compelling personal stories or build her brand the way most of the other ladies have. (She by Sheree never quite broke through.) She was taken off the show in 2012 but came back last year in an recurring role. She clearly made enough of a positive impression to stick around this year.
Her “Chateau Sheree” home may or may not be livable at this point. It’s been unfinished for several years.
As previously reported, Kim Fields came season eight and left after just one season. This type of show was clearly not for her.
The other ladies – Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks – remain.
A press release provided some more plotlines:
In season nine of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” after coming to grips with the end of her marriage to Peter, Cynthia is looking forward to embracing this new chapter of her life with a fresh start in a new house. Kandi and Todd are still over the moon with the arrival of baby Ace, but juggling high-profile careers and parenting duties proves to be challenging, especially with Mama Joyce drudging up past issues between Kandi and Phaedra. With her law practice and social justice work taking up more of her time, Phaedra hires a tough new nanny to wrangle her growing rambunctious boys, Ayden and Dylan, as she awaits word of her divorce from Apollo being final. Porsha has rekindled a love connection with an old flame and in an effort to better herself, she begins anger management counseling. On the heels of juggling a tumultuous relationship with her boyfriend Matt, Kenya channels her love struggles by racing to finish “Moore Manor.” Just up the road at “Chateau Shereè,” and holding a peach for the first time since season four, Shereè puts on her “Momager” hat with hopes of her son being The Bailey Agency’s next top model. Coming up this season, there are major twists in relationships among the group from unexpected alliances that form as well as shocking accusations that could end an old friendship beyond repair. NeNe Leakes said she has no plans to return but she said that last year and made a surprise appearance. So you never know.
It’s already been a day since Herman Echevarria Sr.‘s family learned about the tragic news of his death. Not only was the 61-year-old father a constant companion for his children, but he was also the patriarch of his family and respected businessman.
Alexia Echevarria, Herman’s estranged wife, shares with us how she and her family are coping with the greatest loss they have ever had to face.
“The last 24 hours have been a nightmare for my family and I. It is life once again showing me that at the drop of a hat, things can change. I can’t imagine what my life will be like walking into my office every day and not seeing Herman or having our family dinners with the kids and family. We were in this for fifteen years and although we were currently separated and living in separate homes, our spiritual and emotional connection was stronger than ever,” Alexia says exclusively to E! News. “I would like to take this time to thank everyone for the incredible outpour of support that has come my way through messages, calls and social media. I am sharing this image with you that we took this past Father’s day because this is how I will always remember US. “
In the photo shared by the Bravo star, we see the pair hugging and caught in the moment.
Herman died Monday morning of natural causes, according to police. His body was found in the bedroom of his apartment at the Epic Residences in Miami. Authorities have closed the case.
Sources close to the family revealed to E! that they believe that the former council member suffered a fatal heart attack.
After 12 years of politics in Hialeah, Florida, Echevarria turned to business and became one of the most important and respected entrepreneurs in Miami.
The couple founded Venue, a Spanish-language magazine, that focuses on the sophisticated lifestyle of today’s Latinos. The Real Housewives of Miami co-stars separated in 2015.
Monday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County was a weepy one as the cast let the tears flow throughout the episode. Meghan King Edmonds provided one of the most emotional moments of the episode as she broke down in tears when she realized that only one of her babies had survived after she underwent IVF earlier this season (clip above).
Meghan is now well on her way to becoming a mom to her first child, a baby girl, later this fall. Still, she said that all of those emotions came rushing back to her as she relived that heartbreaking moment. “It’s hard for me to watch this scene back,” Meghan tweeted during the episode Monday night. “I’m so grateful Jimmy could be there with me.”
She added, “I’m currently 7th months pregnant and have enjoyed every second, but the loss of the other baby felt so real.”
Some fans were also pleasantly surprised to see Meghan’s usually gruff and tough husband Jim Edmonds being so sweet and compassionate during that scene. “I think he forgot there were cameras around,” Meghan joked on Twitter.
Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Echevarria’s estranged husband, Herman Echevarria Sr., was found dead on Monday, September 26, the Miami Police Department confirms to Us Weekly.
According to E! News, who was first to report the news, and TMZ, Herman was found dead inside a room at Miami’s Epic Hotel. His business partner Gonzalo Gonzalez told the Miami Herald that it’s believed Herman died in his sleep from a heart attack. The Miami police department could not confirm the reports to Us, as an investigation is still ongoing.
“The Echevarria family is heartbroken over the sudden passing of our patriarch Herman Echevarria this morning,” Alexia told Us in a statement. “He was a family man, a hardworking businessman, dedicated to helping others and a pillar of his community that was loved by everyone who’s life he touched. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time of grieving.”
The couple were both featured on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Miami and cofounded Miami’s Venue magazine.
Us exclusively confirmed in May 2015 that Alexia and Herman had separated after 15 years of marriage. As documented on the Bravo reality series, Herman was a father figure to her two sons, Peter and Frankie, from her previous marriage to felon Pedro Luis Rosello. (Rosello was sentenced to 24 years in federal prison after being part of one of the largest cocaine smuggling operations in the 1980s.)
“It’s uncomfortable to have to speak about my ex-husband, the biological father of my children, after we have been legally divorced for over 17 years,” Alexia wrote in a 2013 Bravo blog post. “As you all know, I’ve been happily married to Herman for the last 13 years. Peter and Frankie have always lived with me and Herman,” she explained of her situation at the time. “[They] have been blessed with having two fathers in their lives.”
Luann de Lesseps’ New Year’s Eve wedding is just three months away, but Bethenny Frankel won’t be marking her calendar for the celebratory occasion.
During a visit to the PEOPLE offices, the Real Housewives of New York personality revealed that she and de Lesseps are not speaking following the reunion show.
“No, I haven’t strangled her and I haven’t spoken to her, so she’s still alive and I hope she is happily engaged. And no I haven’t spoken to her,” Frankel, 45, tells PEOPLE.
Although the pair feuded on season 8 of the Bravo reality series, Frankel cites the Countess’ “bad behavior” as a reason for her no longer being upset with de Lesseps.
“I’m not really upset with her because I wasn’t really that surprised by her bad behavior,” Frankel states. “The truth is not Luann’s very good friend. So, I’m not really that surprised. I’m not angry. There have been people that I’ve been on the show with before that I was very angry at and was just like, ‘I can never speak to them again’ and I don’t feel like that with Luann because I just don’t expect that much from her.”
On season 8, Frankel dropped a bombshell on de Lesseps when she revealed that the Countess’ fiancé, Tom D’Agostino, Jr., allegedly made out with a Playboy model at New York’s Regency Hotel the day before the couple’s engagement party.
“In the end, really, because I was the messenger and you know people want to kind of get the stain off of them and just throw it onto someone else. I presented something that represents the truth and Luann, like I said, isn’t a very good friend of the truth,” Frankel tells PEOPLE.
It’s the Real Housewives of New Jersey trip we’ve been hearing about since before the season started. The one that would pit Jacqueline Laurita against both Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga for good. It’s the explosive expedition to Vermont. And it’s finally here.
“I guess if you put a bunch of women together on a vacation trip, drama is bound to happen and you’re gonna see some explosions,” Teresa told E! News in advance of the big getaway making its way to your TV screens.
“I bring friends on the show that have issues with some of the other Housewives of the show,” she added. “So you’ll see that play out.”
Which Housewives, you ask? “There was drama between Jacqueline and someone else, one of my friends that comes on the show,” Teresa told us, before offering an advisement. “But watch closely of how it plays out.”
When Jacqueline goes toe-to-toe with Tre’s friend Robyn almost immediately, it’ll cause Melissa to look at her then-friend in a whole new light. And naturally, poor Dolores Catania and Siggy Flicker will be stuck in the middle, trying to keep the peace.
“This plays out in two episodes, so the first part is pretty explosive, but the second part is even more explosive,” Teresa teased. “So you definitely have to watch it.”
Reactions to smells, if you believe the latest 100-page motion in the defamation case brought by former reality TV star Joanna Krupa against “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” standout Brandi Glanville, are subjective and statements of opinion.
Cigar smoke, the motion by Glanville to dismiss the 2-year-old lawsuit argues, can be “intoxicating” and “delightful” to some people while odious to others.
Therefore, the motion argues, a judge in Miami should throw out the lengthening case where “Real Housewives of Miami” principal Krupa is asking for big money from Glanville for the latter’s televised claims two years ago that Krupa’s lady parts are stinky.
Actually, the judge is keeping a stiff upper lip and set a January date to hear the motion, one where the absurd — in as many as 156 separate filings and counting — has been pushed to the extreme.
Take Ray Rafool, Krupa’s attorney, for example.
He took time off from playing polo in Ibiza earlier today to discuss the latest by telephone.
“For you and I to say this is a ridiculous case that shouldn’t be going through the justice system is easy,” Rafool said. “We’re not the ones who were slandered.
“Everywhere Joanna goes, someone brings it up. She’s trying to save the cougars in California, and wisecracks about female scent spring up.
“People come up to her husband [Miami Beach nightclub owner Romain Zago] and say to him ‘I heard your wife’s … smells bad.’ What do you do?
“In a civilized society, you don’t get into a fistfight over it. You go to court.”
Until Glanville admits she was lying when she alleged that Krupa’s nether regions aren’t as neat as she looks, Rafool says, the case will likely continue.
Said Susan Warner, Glanville’s Jacksonville attorney: “This was a nonsensical joke at best, and it could be an opinion — nothing defamatory.
“You need to ask this other side why they’re pursuing this.”
Amber Marchese has overcome her second battle with breast cancer.
“I’m actually done with treatment,” revealed Amber, 39. “Actually, two weeks ago was my last treatment. I’m clean, I’m clear and I’m just ready to get on with life.”
Amber survived breast cancer in 2009 before going on to discover a lump, which turned out to be cancerous, in her right breast in April 2015.
Of how the experience changed her outlook on life, the reality star says it’s made her full of “love.”
“Oh my god – I love people, I love life, I love my family and I appreciate everything,” she said. “I mean, I just don’t take anything for granted. Nothing’s guaranteed.”
Let freedom ring for Ramona Singer.
The “Real Housewives of New York” star’s divorce from Mario Singer was finalized on Wednesday, two years after they first split, her reps confirmed to Page Six on Friday.
“We signed off on a divorce agreement last September. Unfortunately, it took the judge over a year to sign off on it due to paperwork glitches,” she told E! News. “I found out yesterday from my attorney, who sent it to me along with a key chain that says, ‘The divorce is final.’”
Ramona, 59, wed Mario in 1992 and they renewed their vows on-air in 2010. The Bravo personality tearfully recalled on “Housewives” this season how she actually discovered on Page Six that her spouse of over 20 years allegedly cheated with a much younger woman.
Though Ramona and Mario called it quits in August 2014, she says she has since forgiven him. “Forgiveness is very important,” she told us last summer. “I forgive [Mario]. Sometimes people just lose their way and you can’t help them find it.”
Melissa Gorga is taking a stand against Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri!
Gorga, 37, revealed that that she has no intention of being a part of their feud with Teresa Giudice, as she wants to keep the family at peace after their explosive sit-down!
“You have seen throughout the past five seasons, there have been A LOT of ups and downs between all of our families and our friendships,” she began her Bravotv.com blog. “No one’s hands are 100% clean, including my own, but what I have learned is that actions speak louder than words when it comes to finding peace.”
“Our issue with Kathy and Richie is that they are the ones that pulled away from Joe [Gorga] and I, waaay before Teresa went away, and I’m still not even sure why,” she explained. “Now, they all of sudden are ready to come back around and are annoyed that we aren’t dropping everything to make time for them. Even though we hadn’t heard from them in a long time, we still supported them, checked in to make sure Victoria was okay and came to see their new beautiful home.”
“The second we walked into their house, we got thrown into a heated conversation about Teresa,” she said of the most recent episode of RHONJ. “I was pretty clear that I didn’t want to be put in the middle, and I’m glad Joe called Richie out on his unnecessary dig. Teresa, Joe and I agreed that we would put the past in the past, that there would be no more secrets, and that we would shut down any negative conversations about each other when that person was not there to defend themselves. And that is exactly what we did!”
“I am proud of how Joe handled himself throughout this entire episode,” she continued. “He loves his family and does want peace, but he’s right… we all need to be genuine to move forward, and if you’re not ready to do that, then be honest and tell them. When people said we weren’t supporting Kathy and Rosie, I think that’s unfair. If it wasn’t for Joe, Teresa would have never even sat down with her cousins.”
“I can’t speak for Teresa, but I know from my own experience with her that she goes through a process and she’s gotta get over one thing before she can approach the next,” she concluded. ” She said she doesn’t feel that Kathy and Rosie wanting to reconcile is genuine, and I can see both sides. I do believe they want to be back in the family and want to be with us, but I get that Teresa feels it’s not real since they didn’t reach out while she was away. I was not on the visitor list or approved email list, but I still wrote to Teresa to tell her how I felt and send pictures of her girls. I made the effort to let her know that I wanted her to be in my life and that I wanted us to be good.”
