The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey is usually stunning and chipper, but the reality star is finally speaking out about a medical crisis she’s facing — one that is forcing her to undergo surgery!
“I can say a whole lot about it…” Cynthia told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “But I am dealing with a medical situation. I will be having a surgery and rectifying the [situation]. That will play out on the show.”
Apparently Cynthia decided to share her story on RHOA so that she can help build awareness of her mysterious ailment.
“As part of the journey I am going through with that, I decided I did wanted to share it with the world because I felt like there is a lot of education in this process that I am going to be going through,” she said. “I decided to take you guys on this journey with me because I really didn’t know a lot about it. And then once you find out something, people aren’t always diligent about getting to the doctor and really figuring out what I need to do or just being overall healthy people in general.”
According to Cynthia, finding out about her condition has “changed” how she views life.
“It has really just changed my life and how I look at my health,” she explains. “I’m in my forties. I really have to take care of myself. I have to make sure I make those yearly visits to the doctor and just get checked out. I’m so busy that time just goes and I’m like, ‘Oh my god. I haven’t gone.’ But it’s super important.”
Cynthia continued, “I really want to be somewhat of a health advocate for ‘Hey, take care of yourself.’ It’s great to be successful and do all these great things, but I can’t be a role model if I’m not healthy, if I’m not alive.”
Never one to shy away from the spotlight, Cynthia said she didn’t hesitate to share her journey with the world.
“The more information I got about it once I did go to the doctor and really saw the rewards, how good I was going to feel from dealing with it, and how many women actually deal with this condition, I felt it just would be powerful to relay that information out there,” she said. “Over three or four million people watch our show. And even they love the drama, but I think it’s great when they can actually get some education out of it as well.”
She adds, “And this is just one of those situations where whether they want to learn about it or not, they’re going to learn something when they watch me go through this process.”
While Cynthia can’t go into any more detail about the mystery condition right now because it would spoil the show, she does reveal that she hasn’t undergone the knife yet. “It hasn’t happened yet,” she says. “But it’s coming up.”
“I know a lot of you have voiced your opinion on Brooks and although I appreciate your opinion, keep in mind I am a smart woman and I know him more (other than his family) than most of you,” Vicki wrote in her June 26 Bravo blog. “I don’t read the comments people post on the blogs because I have seen the level of anger and meanness there.”
Vicki continued, “I have learned a lot about relationships in my lifetime and what I do know is my checkbook is guarded, my heart is guarded, my mind is guarded and it’s going to be a very long time before I am walking down that aisle again (if ever).”
There has been a lot of trouble in their romance: In addition to rumors of infidelity, RadarOnline.com revealed that Vicki, 51, recently got served with a lawsuit that accused her and Brooks of fraud over their failed Vicki’s Vodka business.
RadarOnline.com also obtained exclusive footage of Vicki getting served with papers when she was in Las Vegas on June 25.
The day after Vicki was served, Brooks took to Twitter and fueled the breakup speculation even more.
“@vgunvalson My heart is very heavy because of you. The world doesn’t revolve around you alone, especially when you’re in a relationship,” Brooks tweeted [https://twitter.com/BrooksAyers] at Vicki on Jun 26. “@vgunvalson I should’ve known that you’d betray us for you. I did the opposite.”
Instead of New Jersey or Beverly Hills, a group is looking for real housewives right here in Oklahoma City.
It’s not official yet but Bravo is interested and the socialites showed up Thursday to show them what Oklahoma City has to offer.
“Lisa! Lisa Vanderpump! I love her! She is straight forward,” Carol Hefner said. “Her husband adores her. My husband adores me!”
One by one, women hand-picked from well-known families sat in the hot seat and showed the camera why they should be one of the next Real Housewives of Oklahoma City.
Los Angeles producer Annette Latham pitched the idea to Bravo.
“We want to see how they talk,” Latham said. “How they are on television and do they photograph well.”
Latham wants women who have made names for themselves.
Eva Aranda is married to Damien Aranda, musician and worship pastor at Life Church.
She said she was a stay-at-home mother but was “miserable.”
She started her own esthetician company called “Beauty by Eva.”
Carol Hefner, married to Robert Hefner IV, has started a family foundation with her husband and served on numerous boards around the state.
She even ran for State Senate in 2011.
The women said they want to show Bravo that Oklahoma City is worthy.
They were filmed in their natural habitat, chit-chatting, getting to know each other and gossiping.
They even asked KFOR-TV reporter Paige Hill to step in as Andy Cohen.
The women know there will be drama but they intend to represent Oklahoma with class.
“Without being stale boring or dull, we are gracious but we’re fun,” Hefner said. “We’re spicy, we’re saucy, we shake it up but we do it with grace and dignity.”
No shame in her game, at all:
And it wasn’t the first time. Kim, 35, was also photographed smoking in the early days of her pregnancy, during a family vacation to Destin, Florida, over Memorial Day weekend.
Kim has always been a notorious “chain smoker,” her former publicist previously told RadarOnline.com. But according to the CDC, smoking during pregnancy can cause premature birth, low-birth-weight infants, stillbirth or miscarriage, sudden infant death syndrome, long-term lung damage to the baby, and even adolescent hearing loss years later.
Kim is visibly showing as she shamelessly puffs away in the new photos obtained by Radar.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is thought to be about four months pregnant by her husband, NFL athlete Kroy Biermann. The couple have two sons together, as well as Kim’s two daughters from a previous relationship, whom Kroy recently adopted.
Last night, Kyle Richards hosted a fashion fundraiser at her fabulous boutique, Kyle by Alene Too, in Beverly Hills, CA to benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Several of her fellow Housewives — including sister Kim Richards, Brandi Glanville, and Lisa Vanderpump — were on hand to support Kyle, as was her husband, Mauricio, and Bette Smith, Kyle’s and Kim’s manager. On the red carpet, Mauricio planted a big kiss on Kyle, while their daughters danced and modeled David Lerner’s dresses.
Wetpaint Entertainment got a chance to speak with Kyle, and we asked how hard it’s been to deal with rumors of Mauricio’s infidelity.
So it’s a big family event. Everyone’s involved?
Yes, except my one daughter Farrah, she’s actually sick, so we have a replacement model for her. And Portia didn’t want to come because we’ve been in Cabo so she wanted to stay with her dogs that she’s missed. So we’re bringing together fashion for one of our favorite charities, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and honoring them and raising money for them.
Why is the charity close to your heart?
You know, obviously being a mom of four healthy children, I can’t imagine any greater pain than seeing my child sick, but that’s something that’s always touched me incredibly, and my husband was sick as a child as well, so that’s something that is very personal.
Speaking of him, I saw the red carpet smooch. I guess we don’t have to worry about your marriage.
There is no concern as far as my husband and me. Not at all.
Do you take the rumors in stride?
No!! Hell no.
Was this one hard?
When we signed up for the show, to be honest, we knew and people told us these things could happen but we were naïve and thought, “Oh, that will never happen to us — we’re happy, we have no skeletons.” And when it happened we were really shocked and blind-sided.
Was that the first time it was big enough to react to?
Yeah, we were completely like, Oh my God. And everyone’s like, “That’s part of the deal. That’s how it goes,” and I’m talking with my niece, like, “How do people deal with it?” She’s like, “You just have to live with that.” It’s torture and I think it’s unbelievable that people out there can live with themselves and look themselves in the mirror.
Ms. NeNe Leakes is Mrs. Greg Leakes once again: After a recent divorce, the two remarried Saturday in Atlanta in front of 400 friends.
“Got big plans this weekend? Cause I do :),” the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star tweeted the day before the wedding.
The bride wore white and so did the nine bridesmaids, according to Us Weekly, which noted that Leakes’ gown also had gold accents. TV’s judge Greg Mathis officiated, costar Cynthia Bailey and guest star Marlo Hampton were in the wedding party, and the whole thing was filmed by Bravo for the special “I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding.”
And when it came to the guest list, wow, it was a reality-TV extravaganza. The “Real Housewives” came from all over the country and out of the woodwork, as alumnae joined current cast members to celebrate the occasion. Us Weekly reported the following current and former “RH” names in attendance: Kim Zolciak, Phaedra Parks, Portia Stewart, Kandi Burruss and Lisa Wu (Atlanta), Gretchen Rossi and fiance Slade Smiley (Orange County), Marysol Patton (Miami) and Jill Zarin with her husband, Bobby (New York). To that, add Patti Stanger of “Millionaire Matchmaker” for good measure.
The event went down at Atlanta’s InterContinental Buckhead Hotel, NeNe’s rep confirmed to People.
The couple, who’d been married from 1997 until they filed for separation in 2011 and finalized the divorce in 2012, got engaged for the second time in January. She’s been on “RHOA” since 2008.
NeNe, who’s also appeared on “The New Normal” and “Glee,” most recently made headlines as a judge on the Miss USA pageant. She was the one who asked Miss Utah the equal-pay question that sent the contestant into an epic tailspin.
Melissa Gorga has an answer for her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice, who accused her brother (and Melissa’s hubby) Joe Gorga of being “whipped” during their vicious verbal exchange at the gym on this week’s edition of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
“Is there a more obnoxious phrase than ‘p**** whipped?’” Melissa writes in a new Bravo blog. “I’ll die saying that a man who treats his wife with respect, who is loving, supportive, and faithful, and who comes home every night is NOT p**** whipped.
“In my book, that man is a king and his wife is his queen. My marriage is strong because of our mutual respect and devotion to each other. Joe and I have the relationship I always fantasized about since I was a little girl.”
Melissa defended her husband’s aggressive stance toward his sister during the fight, calling out Teresa for her immature actions when she could no longer use words to make her case.
“During their conversation at the gym, Joe stayed calm … [Teresa] freaked out, threw water, flipped a trash can and stormed out,” Melissa writes. “He gave her a taste of her own medicine, and she did not like it.”
As far as Teresa’s accusation, in a recent blog, that Melissa was publicly exploiting her parents, Melissa said it’s just another in the litany of offenses Teresa’s accused her of that haven’t panned out.
“On Season 3, she mocked my and called me a gold digger,” Melissa said. “On Season 4, she said I’d leave my husband for a richer man and I was questioned by her about being a stripper. We already know I’m a bad daughter-in-law.
“I don’t know how many more negative things I can be accused of. It’s as predictable as the tides.”
But despite the never-ending strife between the clans that seems to keep ratings high and the reality stars relevant, Melissa said she wishes “all of these relationships can be repaired, or that they can call a truce and be civil.
Of all the revelations from last night’s 100th episode of Real Housewives of Orange County, at least one is still making waves on Twitter: Jo De La Rosa accusing Gretchen Rossi of violating the “girl code” by shacking up with the erstwhile Housewife’s ex Slade Smiley.
After hearing that comment, Gretchen tweeted at Jo, “hate to burst your bubble honey but I didn’t meet Slade through you, I knew him from working with him in the real estate busin[ess].” Then she added, “Hilarious that Jo thinks I meet Slade cause of her, I knew him long before her, and Jo and I were only acquaintances because of Slade!”
Jo didn’t seem to agree with Gretchen’s assessment and wrote back, “whatever helps you sleep at night, darling. I’m happy for the both of you – the two of you truly deserve each other.”
Sounds snide, but after Slade jumped in the mix to tweet, “yes we do and @GretchenRossi and I sleep great at night knowing the truth. Hope u quit pretending one day and find happiness,” Jo insisted to her ex, “I have no negative beef with you. I’ve always stood up for you and you’re better than this.”
Tamra Barney suggested in a tweet to Andy Cohen that he bring Jo back “to shake things up.” Or at least give her a spot on the reunion couch!
Looks like Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards have cleared the air.
The former feuding Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars have mended their relationship after famously butting heads on the hit Bravo show (Brandi once accused Kim of doing meth in the bathroom, while Richards called Glanville a “slut pig”).
E! News has exclusively learned the twosome recently double dated, and the now one-year-sober star has enlisted the Drinking and Tweeting author to aid with her love life.
A source tells E! News Richards has been telling friends she’s ready for some romance in her life, and in a segment filmed for the show’s upcoming fourth season, Brandi offered to set her up.
“She asked Kim if she had her mind on men of any background or color,” the source reveals to E! News. “And Kim said bring it on.” (Get it, girl!)
Days later, Brandi and her on-again, off-again beau Jonathan Ruiz met Kim at L.A.’s Magnolia restaurant on Sunset Blvd. with a handsome African American man, who was ready to meet the single reality star.
“At first things were a little awkward, because Kim can get shy,” the source explains. “But once she started to feel more comfortable, she opened up. They had a fun time.”
While there were no major sparks flying between Kim and her date, the new gal-pals seem to be getting along swimmingly.
“At the end of the day, there wasn’t a romantic connection, but Kim really appreciated Brandi’s efforts. She’s enjoying their new friendship,” the Bev Hills insider says.
And apparently, Kim is serious about finding a man, as a second source tells E! News Richards went on another blind date just a few days later, which was arranged by a different pal.
“Kim is definitely putting herself out there,” the second source notes. “She’s on the prowl for a boyfriend!”
Filming is currently underway for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season four.
Hey, unless we come to find out later that Porsha did Kordell seriously wrong during their marriage, IMO she deserves the loot:
Hip Hop Enquirer broke the story…It appears that Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams has won the first round in her bitter divorce case against her estranged husband Kordell Stewart as an Atlanta Superior court judge has ordered him to pay his wife a sizable amount in temporary spousal support until their divorce is final.
It doesn’t appear that the judge was too fond of the fact that Kordell Stewart changed the locks on the marital house they both shared.
Yesterday in a Fulton County courthouse, Superior Judge Goger ordered after hearing all the evidence in a recent motion filing for spousal support, told former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart that he must pay his estranged wife $5000.00 a month in temporary support as well as he must return all her personal possessions to her immediately or pay for it to be put in storage unit.
The ruling was a result of a recent motion filing by Porsha Williams in which she claimed Kordell Stewart changed the locks on their home and that Kordell has locked her out of their residence on multiple occasions … and she had to have her lawyer beg Kordell’s people for a key.
Kordell countered in his own filing that his wife was spending money frivolously and he claims that she didn’t need support from him, as her current income with the Real Housewives of Atlanta reality show was enough to keep her afloat.
The judge in the case has reserved his decision on who must pay attorney fees.
While Bravo is celebrating 100 episodes of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” with a special airing on Monday, it’s only standing original cast member is still trying to wrap her head around the experience.“I don’t know if I’m still into it yet,” Vicki Gunvalson told TheWrap. “I’m still trying to understand why the hell am I doing this?”“There are days when I absolutely, 100 percent love it and there’s days where I need to get my head examined. What sane person would ever allow millions of viewers to judge them question their looks, question every time they speak, question who they date? I mean it’s annoying.”The insurance company owner isn’t in the mood to celebrate the show’s big accomplishment. She’s in the middle of great controversy surrounding former cast mate, friend and employee Lauri Peterson. Peterson left the show after Season 4, but returned this season accusing Gunvalson of cheating on her ex-husband along with a host of other sexual accusations, including a threesome with another woman.“It just totally blindsided me,” Gunvalson said of Peterson’s accusations. “And then I got upset with the production company because I said, ‘Why didn’t you ask me before you aired that, because it’s a lie?’ They said, ‘You’ll come around, you’ll tell your truth.’ But now the viewers think that I sleep around with a woman, it was just disgusting to me. So, how do you combat things that are lies? That’s where I go deep and dark.”Defending herself, Gunvalson said that the woman in Peterson’s threesome story was actually her sister and believes that the returning housewife made the stories up in order to get camera time. “She’s pretty boring in her own life,” the 51-year-old said. “And if she didn’t come back with something they wouldn’t have aired her.”Gunvalson said that the accusations have affected her business and said she didn’t sign up for this kind of personal and professional attack.“If I knew Lauri was going to come back like that, I probably would have never filmed again a day in my life because I wouldn’t have allowed something like that to be out to the universe,” she said.“I mean we’re talking stuff people will see 10 or 20 years from now; my grandchildren. It’s gross, it’s filthy, it’s disgusting and I hate liars,” she continued. “Now, I have to be the one that defends myself and that’s not the person I want to be. I really am still very raw about it, still very upset about it, I don’t understand it and I’m mad. I’m just very upset. Probably in time things will heal, but right now it’s not good.”In interviews for Monday’s 100th episode special on Bravo, Gunvalson was in a much better place. She opens the special and during it she declares that the show is like one of her babies.Gunvalson had yet to watch the two-hour program when we talked to her, but after we informed her that there are plenty of touching flashbacks over the past eight seasons on the special that will probably counteract some of the drama this season, she said, “Oh, good.”“At the end of the day, it’s business,” she added. “I understand without that drama we wouldn’t be on, so I’m smart enough to understand that. I will never tolerate just somebody coming on and lying about me. Pretty much, I’m going to claw her eyeballs out. But, other than that we’re all good.”
When Teresa Giudice and Caroline Manzo met up on the Real Housewives of New Jersey their reunion was shocking but in an exclusive interview Caroline told RadarOnline.com that she was never planning to speak Teresa again until JoeGiuidce got involved.
“People ask me why did I go see Teresa? Joe asked me to see Teresa,” Caroline explained about the surprise olive branch she extended to her nemesis on the show.
“I never would have gone on my own; of course I never would have gone on my own.”
Caroline has penned a new book Let Me Tell You Something : Life as a Real Housewife, Tough-Love Mother, and Street-Smart Businesswoman and she told Radar at an appearance at C. Wonder in Fashion Island in Newport Beach, Calif. that she is getting involved in the Teresa/Melissa Gorga feud because she is “trying to mend this family’s relationship.”
“Sometimes when you’re in it it’s too foggy and you can’t see and you need someone on the outside to bring clarity to things,” she said defending her actions.
“The amazing thing is how people say to me mind your business don’t you see that Melissa’s still doing this don’t you see that Teresa is still doing that?
“And I feel like saying you’re being awful. Don’t you want them to be happy? You prefer the teams, you prefer the hatred?”
The teams and the hatred are back full force in the new season of the Bravo show and Caroline says she’s sick of getting slammed for trying to broker peace in Jersey.
“You’ll blast me because I’m trying to do a good thing and you turn me into the bad guy because I’m trying to do something positive? You’re all the negative ones, not me. It’s funny to me that I can be bashed or told mind your own business. Well that tells me that you prefer the hate.”
Caroline said that she is involved in the fights between Teresa and Melissa because she has to be.
“People ask me ‘Why are you delivering all these messages?’ Because Teresa told me to deliver these messages. That’s part of the process.
“Somebody has to be the messenger. It’s not an easy position to be in and it’s not fun when you’re sitting in front of somebody and you have to tell them something that’s going to hurt them.
Not a stranger to her own family fights, Caroline said that she believes she is doing the right thing getting involved and telling the ladies what is really going on.
“In my view if you’re ever going to have peace you have to put everything out on the table and tell your truths so it’s better if they know the truth and can deal with the truth and can build from that.
“I get beat up for that but what would you rather me do? Pick a team? I‘m not going to pick a team. I’m the bad guy for not picking the team.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FbtIn9htrQ&w=420&h=315] Clearly Karent Sierra couldn’t handle the drama so she’s gone. As for Ana Quincoces being demoted, I doubt too many people will care. Marysol Patton was never a fave of mine, much less her hideous-looking mother. Good to see Alexia return to full-time status tho as at least she was interesting, tho it was wishful thinking on my part that they’d get rid of that skank Joanna Krupa:
The women of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Miami” will be back for its third season starting Monday, Aug. 12 at 9/8c, with a few cast changes.
While Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Lisa Hochstein and Joanna Krupa are returning as full-fledged cast members, public relations expert Marysol Patton and attorney Ana Quincoces have been downgraded to recurring roles. Additionally, there is no sign of celebrity dentist Karent Sierra on Season 3.
In its third year, Krupa and de Moura plan their weddings and the related drama; Black deals with her social circle and tries to define herself as more than just a housewife; Echevarria continues to nurse her son back to recovery after a car accident, while her other son hits hard times as well; and Hochstein is determined to conquer her fertility problems and grow her family.
Last season, Bravo brought back “The Real Housewives of Miami” from what many considered was definite cancelation after very little buzz and low ratings for its debut season. Season 2, which had about three times the episodes than its first season, saw a slight bump in its ratings numbers. It attracted 1.25 million viewers to its finale compared to the 1.09 million viewers who tuned into the previous season-ender.
Purveyors of Pop, the production company behind the show’s sophomore year makeover, will continue on for its third season.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is on hiatus, but the soap opera of Kenya Moore’s life continues.
On Thursday, the former Miss USA called into “The Wendy Williams Show” to talk about being evicted from her residence in Roswell, Georgia, outside Atlanta. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that a Fulton County judge ruled against Moore, and in favor of her landlord, Conya Dillon, on Tuesday, after neither Moore nor her lawyer appeared in court. Dillon had claimed that the 42-year-old reality star didn’t pay $848 of the $3,999 she pays each month in rent. When Moore spoke with Williams via phone — true to “Housewife” form — she brought the drama.
“First of all, we never got notice of court date, so that’s going to be overturned and we will have another court date,” Moore said defiantly. “It isn’t over until the fat lady sings.”
“Secondly,” she added, “This is absolutely absurd. I’ve paid this woman nearly $52,000 in rent and she has a $6,000 security deposit of mine. I have paid her May rent and paid her June, and my lease is up in three weeks. So this whole thing is absolutely ridiculous.”Moore was sassy as usual when she explained her theory of why she’s on the landlady’s bad side.
“I don’t know if it’s necessarily so personal, but the key is Wendy — now, it gets a little complicated — but she’s taking her ex-husband back to court, and I can’t help it if I live a fabulous life and she can no longer afford to be in the house.”
Room for two more?
E! News has exclusively learned that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud will be joining the show as full-fledged housewives.
Sources close to production tell us that Giraud has already been making waves on the show, quickly befriending Kyle and Kim Richards and making an enemy of Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump.
“Joyce is definitely Team Kyle,” one source explains. “But she gets on the nerves of nearly everyone else. She’s very ‘me, me, me.’ She makes every situation about her. It’s insensitive and exhausting.”
As for Gebbia, we’re told that she has yet to take sides in the Kyle and Lisa drama saga, but Vanderpump is anxious to take the fellow Brit under her wing.
Is there room for seven Real Housewives? Maybe, but a second source reveals that Taylor Armstrong may not be returning to the series in a full-time role.
“Taylor’s been filming, but barely,” says the insider. “And she’s no longer on salary. Her current deal is pay-for-play. She only gets paid for the days that she shoots. As of now, that hasn’t been a lot.”
Bravo has no comment on the casting.
