One of the new stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Adrienne Maloof-Nassif, is speaking out in defense of her friend and fellow cast mate, Camille Grammer.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Maloof-Nassif says Camille – who recently split with husband Kelsey Grammer – is handling everything with class.
“Camille and I knew each other before we did the show,” Maloof-Nassif said. “She’s doing really Great. We’re all standing behind her, supporting her.”
It came as quite a shock when Grammer, 55, announced he was splitting from Camille after 13 years of marriage. But even more surprising was the announcement that he was expecting a baby with his new 29-year-old flight attendant girlfriend, Kayte Walsh.
Camille is featured as one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, part of Bravo’s hit series.
While Bravo passed on creating a “Real Housewives of Chicago” — and a locally produced copycat concept didn’t materialize — there will be a new “Housewives” series with a slight Chicago connection.
Retired Bulls great Scottie Pippen’s wife, Larsa, is part of the lineup Bravo will showcase in ”The Real Housewives of Miami,” a show the cable channel originally had planned as a somewhat different reality show initially titled ”Miami Social Club.”
However, a longtime pal of Pippen’s says the newly inducted NBA Hall of Famer was less than enthusiastic about his wife being part of the Miami show’s mix.
”As everyone knows, Scottie is a very private guy — especially about his personal life. … It took a lot of convincing and cajoling to get Scottie to get on board this project,” said the source.
”But Larsa really wanted to do it, so he finally gave in.”
Notice that a couple of the Miami “Housewives” are basketball wives, wonder if that has anything to do with VH1’s “Basketball Wives” show? Hmmm.
Depending on how you feel about Real Housewives of D.C. star Michaele Salahi, this is a tale of either mother knows best or parents are always biased.
Michaele’s mother Rosemary Holt spoke to RadarOnline.com exclusively, defending her controversial daughter against ongoing criticism.
Though cynics questioned the validity- and timing- of the news, Rosemary adamantly defended Michaele, shooting down rumors that Michaele’s thin frame was due to an eating disorder.
Rosemary, who is 83, says Michaele has suffered from MS since she was about 27. “It’s hard for me to remember [exactly how long Michaele has had it],” Rosemary admitted.
“She has seen our family doctor for years and when she left my house to go to the winery she was 124 pounds.
“She’s never been diagnosed or treated for [anorexia]. She does beautiful with MS. I am concerned now because there’s so much stress put upon her at the winery and I saw her break down a couple times.”
Rosemary says that she has dealt with her daughter’s condition by relying on the book about multiple sclerosis by Dr. Louis Rosner and Shelley Ross.
Again, Lynda owes Michaele an apology for starting this whole “anorexic” crap in the first place.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak has been enjoying a personal life overhaul and recently opened up about her new younger man, defending him against allegations that he’s dating her to raise his profile.
— she has been in a relationship with Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann.
“People keep calling me a cougar. But I’m 32, he’s 25,” she said during a conference call to promote the Bravo show’s third season. “We just have a great connection and we’re still together. It’s been over 5 months. He’s just fantastic. I’m really happy, I’m in a great place… He’s great, I mean, he’s great with my girls. He’s not 25 out partying every night and that kind of thing. He doesn’t have that mind frame and maybe that’s why it worked.
“I mean whether he’s younger or not is irrelevant.”
Don’t people realize by now that Kim Zolciak has no standards. None. Married men, Women. Younger guys. Everything is “irrelevant”.
Cindy Barshop is the owner of the Completely Bare Salon, a boutique in New York City that specializes in total and complete hair removal.
Now, it’s been confirmed by Ramona Singer that this socialiate will be baring her soul on national television, as Barshop will definitely be coming on board The Real Housewives of New York City next season.
“She’s really a fabulous woman,” Singer told Us Weekly. “I’ve known her for a while. We have a lot in common. She’s independent, a strong business woman. She’s a very impressive woman: Smart, powerful. I think she will be an amazing addition to our crew.”
With Bethenny Frankel on her own show, Singer also expects “a lot less drama” on the new season.
“Last season got very dark and sad,” she said. “This season will be a lot more lighthearted. There is definitely a lot to look forward to!”
Bravo is yet to confirm the addition of Barshop, or a premiere date for the next season of this franchise.
I have to admit: the prospect of not having Bethenny next season on RHONYC doesn’t make me enthused at all. They need someone to keep it real with Team Jill and Ramona likes to play both sides of the fence too much to do that, Sonja is hard to take seriously and while Alex finally found her mojo last season, she can’t do it alone. I hope this Cindy lady is up to the task.
Is Bethenny Frankel smarter than a fifth grader?
Find out when the Bravo reality star, 39, appears on the Oct. 5 episode of the MyNetworkTV game show, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?
UsMagazine.com has a sneak peek of Frankel wracking her brain after she is asked a 4th grade-level question about the Pyrenees.
After she says she’s stumped, host Jeff Foxworthy asks her for her “gut instinct answer.”
“What does my gut tell me?” Frankel asks. “To go into the bathroom and get sick right now!”
Find out if Frankel takes home cash for her charity, Step Up Women’s Network, when Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? airs Oct. 5 at 8:30 p.m. (EST) on MyNetworkTV.
So what is Paul Wharton not going to vote for Obama unless he changes his mind about gay marriage too? I hate it when people try to impose their personal beliefs on others, so count me in the group that says that Paul Wharton and Lynda Erkiletian are big hypocrites for coming down on Stacie, her husband, clueless Mary and anyone else who believes that marriage is between a man and a woman. If there’s one thing people should know about Christians, esp. Black Christians, is that when it comes to the Bible, they have strict interpretations of it. For Black Christians the Bible is the authoritative word of God. So put word’s God’s word vs. the words of gay activists and 99% of the time God is going to win. Listen, I get that Bravo is pro-gay, but honestly I don’t care because I don’t watch “Housewives” for that. I watch it for the women, the drama, bickering, fights and feel-good stories. I watch it because it’s fun. If Bravo wants to get serious sometimes that’s fine too, but when you’re dealing with politics or other issues of importance I think that Bravo needs to do a better job at presenting both sides of the issue, instead of trying to make good people like Stacie Turner (who is clearly a very tolerant person) out to be something she’s not.
Is there a more conceited bitch out there than Kim Zolciak?
Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita will reportedly testify against their former castmate Danielle Staub.
The three women appeared together on Real Housewives of New Jersey during the first two seasons of the show.
Radar Online reports that Manzo and Laurita have joined a witness list for the upcoming defamation trial brought against Staub by her ex-husband Kevin Maher.
Earlier this week, it was announced that the case will go to trial following Staub and Maher’s inability to reach a settlement.
Maher filed a defamation lawsuit against Staub after she made allegations that she was raped and abused by him during their brief marriage.
Manzo will reportedly appear to testify about Staub’s character, after describing her as ‘dishonest’ and ‘a pathological lair’.
Staub was renowned for being at the centre of many of the disputes during the first two seasons of Real Housewives of New Jersey.
When you lie about, manipulate and threaten people karma can really be a bitch.
Listen up, Michaele Salahi!
Your Real Housewives of D.C. costar Lynda Erkiletian thinks it’s time to get professional help…
“Get a therapist,” Erkiletian told reporters at the Operation Smile Gala in L.A. when asked if she had any advice for the controversial reality TV star.
“I think it’s really unfortunate that people feel like they have to make things up to create a spotlight,” she continued. “I think it’s better to just work for it as opposed to making it up.”
Erkiletian went on to call Salahi and husband Tareq‘s news-making antics a “distraction,” from their White House party crashing to Michaele’s recent announcement that she has multiple sclerosis.
“I was very surprised,” Erkiletian said. “No one really knows what they’re making up, but I hope that she’s not using MS, something as serious as that, to sell a book. Even I would be shocked by that. I wish her the best and I hope that she’s getting proper treatment. She looks amazing so let’s hope that’s not MS being BS.”
All that time traveling, shopping and spending Bobby’s money can wear a woman down:
Talk about getting away from it all! The Real Housewives of New York has started filming the next season, but Zarin is squeezing in an escape to Sydney and the Great Barrier Reef.
She will leave for two weeks with hubby Bobby, she told me at the Jones New York lunch for NYU power women on September 23, 2010. An excited Zarin, who was honored at the event along with fellow RHNY Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Broadway star Kristen Chenoweth, and RHNJ’s Caroline and Dina Manzo, looked sharp in a knee-baring Rachel Roy shift dress and heels. Caroline Manzo rocked in red Sergio Ross, pumps and a red Louis Vuitton purse.
Oh God, I guess it was bound to happen:
Snooki was just a warm up. Miami now has its own “Housewives” series.
Eonline is reporting that the “Real Housewives of Miami” has already been shot and is ready to roll out to the masses. But just like anything dealing with South Beach, this version of the popular Bravo series will have an interesting twist.
One of the featured “housewives” will be Elaine Lancaster, the drag queen extraordinaire of South Beach.
Joining the diva known in male form as James Davis will be Scottie Pippen’s wife Larsa and Christy Rice, ex- wife of former Miami Heat star Glen Rice. Other women getting in on the reality TV fun are Adriana Sidi, Alexia Echeverria, Marysol Patton and Lea Black.
Lindsay Lohan wasn’t the only one to get out of jail early! Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice, the husband of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, was released from prison Tuesday morning after serving 8 days of a 10 day sentence.
RadarOnline.com reports that Mr. Giudice left the Morris County Correctional Facility (black and white jumpsuit and all) after having turned himself in last week. The reality show hubby was sentenced after driving with a suspended license.
In addition to his shortened jail stay, he still has to pay a $1,000 fine and will once again have his license revoked (he lost it earlier this year when he was charged with a DUI.)
According to Radar, Giudice told their reporter to “get outta here” when they attempted to ask him questions. Of course, questions from bloggers are the least of the Giudice’s concerns, as the couple is currently facing bankruptcy woes and affair rumors.
